Biography
Ellen G. Levine, M.S.W., Ph.D

- Ellen Levine @ EGS 2009 where she is the Dean of Individualized Studies
Core Faculty and Dean of Individualized Studies at EGS. Co-founder and faculty, ISIS-Canada, Toronto. Senior Staff Social Worker at the Hincks-Dellcrest Center for Children's Mental Health in Toronto where she teaches, supervises and practices in the areas of Play Therapy, Group Therapy and Expressive Arts Therapy.
Ellen has exhibited her work as a visual artist in both Canada and the United States and is the author of Tending the Fire: Studies in Art, Therapy and Creativity (1995, 2003, EGS Press), co-Editor of Foundations of Expressive Arts Therapy: Theoretical and Clinical Perspectives (2000, Jessica Kingsley Publishers), co-author of Principles and Practice of Expressive Arts Therapy: Toward a Therapeutic Aesthetics (2005, Jessica Kingsley Publishers) and co-editor of In Praise of Poiesis: The Arts and Human Existence (2008, EGS Press).
