is director of the Expressive Arts, Digital Arts and Media elective module at EGS. She is Associate Professor in the College of Communication and Department of Radio-Television-Film and director of the Advanced Communication Technologies Laboratory (ACTLab) at the University of Texas. She is the author of “The War of Desire and Technology at the Close of the Mechanical Age” (MIT Press) and numerous other publications. She is a senior artist at the Banff Centre for the Arts and Humanities Research Institute Fellow at the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Stone pursued successful multiple careers in film, music, experimental neurology, writing, engineering, and computer programming.
