Assistant Director, Trustee Leader Scholar Program (TLS), Bard College, in Annandale, New York. TLS, the formal community service and social action program for undergraduates, supports the liberal arts mission of enlightened citizenship: personal development in the context of community building. She is also the Training Coordinator for the Children's Expressive Arts Project (CEAP), one of the student designed and implemented TLS projects.

A lifelong singer, she and her husband, Greg Armbruster are developing the song cycle, "Songs of Poetry", featuring the poems of Elizabeth McKim. Elizabeth's words are set to music by Greg and sung by Susanna. In 2008, when Greg was the Artist-in-Residence, they gave a concert in honor of Elizabeth's 70th birthday. They are currently adding new songs to the cycle.
