Travel expenses for meetings with dissertation advisors will be paid by the student;

Further Notes

As part of their requirements during the year, CAGS students may have to pay for local supervision of teaching and a fee for auditing an intensive seminar (unless they serve as an assistant in the field project).

In special circumstances, students can make other arrangements e.g. pay the other half on arrival in Saas-Fee at the check-in or arrange a payment plan (see financial aids). The remainder of tuition must be paid at the check-in in cash, by international bank check or by Visa Credit Cards.

NEW VISA REGULATIONS FOR EUROPEAN COUNTRIES (SCHENGEN AGREEMENT):

If you are not a resident of the United States, Canada or Europe, please inquire at the Swiss Embassy about current Visitor Visa regulations for Switzerland (Schengen agreement) at least one month prior to departure!


PLEASE NOTE:
We have a new system of payment. You will notice that the registration fee is now included in the tuition. The application fee has to be paid upon submitting the application documents. Tuition has to be paid directly with the registration.

Students are only permitted to attend the summer school seminars in Saas-Fee, if the payment of the application fee and tuition are fully remitted according to the payment contract.

Proof of payment for tuition fee must be enclosed when returning the registration form for summer school 2011 to EGS office.


At the CHECK-IN desk in SAAS FEE the reminder of tuition and fees must be paid in cash, by international bank check or by Visa Credit Card. Please note that the Visa Credit Card is the only Credit Card which is accepted for payments at the European Graduate School.

Refund of payments for summer school MA or CAGS
In order to receive a refund, withdrawal from summer school must occur one month prior to the start of the session. A CHF 400.— fee will be charged. Later cancellation will only be refunded if another participant is provided by the student.
