European Expressive Arts Spring Symposium 2016

 

The Expressive Arts Spring Symposium, 2016, held in beautiful Kilkenny City, Ireland, is an invitation to those who are curious about the way in which the arts can influence their lives and their work. It offers a unique opportunity that facilitates exchange between the arts and other disciplines in a beautiful setting and in an international arena.

This year the theme will be related to local Irish culture. The title of the Symposium is "Anam Cara - Walking on the Pastures of Wonder", inspired by the books of John O'Donohue the Irish poet, philosopher, and scholar. „Anam Cara", means Soul Friend in Irish-Gaelic. John's beautifully crafted, presence filled writing inspired by the celtic imagination and reverence of nature takes us to the place of essence which we know from Expressive Arts work.
