Paul Antze is Assistant Professor, Division of Social Science, Graduate Program in Social and Political Thought, and Graduate Program in Social Anthropology, York University, Toronto, Canada.

He is the former President of the Canadian Association for Medical Anthropology and currently a member of the Editorial Board of Ethos, Journal of the Society for Psychological Anthropology.

Paul Antze is the author of numerous articles on psychoanalysis and psychiatric anthropology and is co-editor of Tense Past: Cultural Essays in Trauma and Memory.
